Inspiring Girls to Love STEM
Sisters in STEM is a student-led nonprofit born at Saguaro High School with one goal: making sure every young person, especially girls, sees themselves in STEM.

SiS Annual STEM Celebration
Date TBD · Saguaro High School · Open to ages 5–15

Our Initiatives
From live STEM fairs to cybersecurity classrooms, every program we build is designed to spark something lasting.
Annual STEM Celebration
Our flagship event: a yearly STEM fair at Saguaro High School where students ages 5–15 get their hands on real science.
SiS Roadshow
A fully-equipped mobile trailer that brings hands-on STEM directly to communities across the Phoenix valley.
"Jada Saves the Day!"
A volunteer-led K–5 reading program built around our founder's book about a girl who cracks a cybercrime.
CyberSiS
Our K–6 cybersecurity curriculum, built with Northrop Grumman and CyberPatriot, teaching students to stay safe online.
Started by students who knew the feeling
In 2018, a local STEM event for girls was cancelled. Three Saguaro High FIRST Robotics Competition students refused to let that stand. In just three weeks, they built their own event from scratch, drawing over 200 attendees, 45 student volunteers, and 50+ Phoenix STEM professionals.
We know what it's like to be the only girl in a computer science class. That's exactly why we do this: STEM belongs to everyone, and we're here to prove it.
